"A commissioned work for the Iowa Sesquicentennial gave me opportunity to pay tribute to Regionalist Artist Grant Wood. The budget for the four acre multiple crop earthwork allowed me to hone art skills and further develop my understanding of my palate and medium. Situated off the runway of Cedar Rapids airport, my work finally had a daily audience that surpassed many Midwestern art galleries. The issue of who might be able to afford a view of my work had finally been addressed. As with most art, few view the original. Most viewers see my work through photograph or film."
This is a 9 in. x 12 in. image of the Iowa Countryside earthwork near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It is on an 11 in. x 14 in. 230 gsm weight vibrant matte paper with the title of the work and artist name below the image. This print will come with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
